Open Youth Work
How to overcome fear? How to express anger in a healthy way? Sadness? And what to do when shame or guilt overwhelms? Emotions are our daily companions, often taking over the control of our actions, thoughts and bodies. What if we could explore all these feelings? We study how clouds form in physics lessons, or plant cells through a microscope in biology lessons. Emotions are a very interesting object of study because they require even more interesting devices - play, drama, song, dance, sounds, colours, smells and many more objects from the world around us to create the conditions for emotions to arise in a safe and trusting environment.
