We would like to invite you to participate in the training organised by VšĮ Žmogiškųjų išteklių stebėsenos ir plėtros biuras.
We organise and deliver non-formal training on teamwork. We also offer non-formal training implemented using forum theatre method.
 
Moreover, we deliver training upon the client’s request. It may be organised based on the prepared and accredited programmes or we may prepare training according to the specific request of the client.

 
“Work with Aggressive Clients”

Description. Employees in various fields more and more frequently encounter with both verbal and physical aggression of clients. They have to recognise early expressions of possible aggression and know the appropriate reaction.
 
Participants are introduced with the theories on aggression, its forms and expressions in social work, reasons of aggression manifestations and their link with gender, age, illnesses and emotions.
 
In practical workshops participants work in groups which enables to assess their theoretical knowledge, learn more about aggression, find ways to change aggressive bahaviour, forms of anger management, create anti-aggressive environment. Various methods help to develop emotional competence.
 
Target group: social workers, social work assistants, other specialists working with aggressive clients.
 
Lecturer: Asta Jaseliūnienė
 
Lecturer’s profile: Master’s degree in social work. Has 12 years of experience working with people having mental disorders, 5 years of experience working with social risk families, youth inclined to offend, disabled, elderly, immigrants, etc. Has created several non-formal training programmes, has skills of delivering training and practical consultation. The lecturer constantly participates in different seminars, participates in international projects’ activities. Implements international projects, therefore, worked and still works and cooperates with organisations from Sweden, Italy, United Kingdom, Greece, Cyprus, Germany, Slovakia and thus has expanded her intercultural competence. Recently has started to work with people who used violence against their family members. Consults them on the issues of violent behaviour.
 
Fields of interest: forum theatre, work with aggressive clients, team work, social work basics, organisation of round tables, conferences, professional competence in social work practice. Delivers training in Lithuanian and English languages.
 
After the training the certificate is issued (SGĮAT code 596870924) which is valid in social workers’ accreditation.
 
Other:
- Participants are contacted individually.
- Costs of accommodation, nutrition and travelling are covered by participants themselves or the sending organisation.
- When a group of fifteen participants is formed the lecturer can come to your city and a particular organisation but in that case the receiving organisation has to cover costs on travelling and accommodation incurred by the lecturer.

Description. Children and young people are very sensitive about personal and social problems and may be easily affected by the negative environment. Aggression is a common phenomenon among children, teenagers and young people. Very often we hear about bullying, acts of physical aggression among peers. The situation in this field is only getting worse, therefore, it is very important that social workers and other specialists working with children and teenagers would have specific knowledge related to childhood and adulthood and how to behave appropriately in the event of aggression outburst. They also should know how to teach children and young people to manage their impulsive reactions and develop emotional competences.
During the theoretical part of the training participants are introduced with types of aggression, the change of aggressive of behaviour depending on age, the differences of gender aggressiveness, reasons of aggression emergence. During practical workshops the situations related to aggressive behaviour of children, teenagers are analysed and solved. Various games which induce the socialization process, anger management are taught.
 
Target group: social workers and specialists working with children and teenagers.
