Leonardo da Vinci programme Transfer of Innovation project
“The transfer of competences for tutors to achieve business (vocational) and social competences of female prisoners and ex-offenders" (COMPETENT TO DO)
Project will be engaged in 4 project partner countries. The purpose of the project is to lead with the common interests of the participant countries to increase the use of education and training in an innovative way: 
a) for tutors and staffs who work with female prisoners and ex-offenders; 
b) for female prisoners – motivation for education and the acquisition of key corporation and social skills for a further vocational education and to facilitate reintegration into society.
Such an education and training is to understand and accept as an effective mechanism to prevent prisoners to recidivism within the whole Europe.
Project objectives:
- inform about the analysis of situation in the partner countries concerning the education of female prisoners,
- prepare the selection criteria a) for tutors which will be trained, b)for the selection of prisoners which will be educated,
- select motivation approaches for integration of prisoners in training/education programs,
- carry out 1 training for tutors in Germany,
- train 12 tutors in Germany,
- prepare and transfer the open curriculum from Croatia to Slovenia and Lithuania - introduction of 2 modules for training of female prisoners:, 
- adjust training program for female in Slovenian and Lithuanian prison,
- evaluate the adjustment of the training program,
- implement 2 pilot trainings (Slovenia, Lithuania),
- obtain entrepreneurial and social competences of women in Slovenian and Lithuanian prison for further vocational education and social reintegration,
- define a range of competences that tutors need in order to work with female prisoners,
- disseminate the project results,
- carry out internal and external evaluation,
- enable two prisoners in Slovenia and Lithuania a free education to gain occupational skills and find employment, after they serve their prison sentence
